I collected together 30 hours of ESL teaching resources about the topic of health, medicine and illness. It is a really great way of teaching! The original was a free public domain document. I took this document, removed all the promotional hyperlinks and logos from every page, as well as adding colourful, interesting images to each page to give it all a more professional image. Like the first version of 101 KS1 English Grammar SAT Revision Worksheets (https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/101-ks1-grammar-sats-revision-worksheets-11189210), it is packed with 101 printable worksheets for teaching and improving grammar skills in English. The topics are wide and varied, starting with Essential English worksheets that cover the basics, like the alphabet, days, months, and telling the time; then tenses (a lot about tenses!), then irregular verbs, question forms, word order in sentences, parts of English, uncountable nouns, and so on! If you have used the first BGB, you will know what to expect from this one. Around 25% of the worksheets in this book are closely modelled on activities in BGB 1, for example Full Stops 1 (pp.68-69). The material starts off at beginner level, with the alphabet worksheets, then gets progressively more difficult. Only towards the end do things get “tougher”, with articles, conditionals, and phrasal verbs making their inevitable appearance! Don’t worry – all the answers and notes for use are included at the back of this book. When I am teaching and revising grammar, the big thing I hate it needing to only check all my answers at the end. I like to be able to give a question. Get the students to show their answers on mini white boards and immediately check their answers and discuss why the answer is correct. I have taken the 2015 SPAG short answer test papers and marking schemes and combined them into a single PowerPoint. There are two different levels of questions, those for Levels 3 - 5 and the more advanced level 6. It is worth going through all of them to both check the advanced groups basic understanding and the other group to inspire them to greater things! Please leave me a comment on how you found them.

When I am revising the SPAG (KS2 English grammar, punctuation and spelling tests), I want to have all the questions and all the answers in one place. This means I can ask the class a question and then after they have shown me their responses on their mini-whiteboards, I can immediately show them the answers and the acceptable alternatives. As I could not find this anywhere, I thought it would be easier to simply make it myself. So here it is! This particular set of resources comes from the 2014 test. I have also done this for the 2015 test and the 2016 tests. This resource could be used in school or it could be used at home. It could be used with a whole class or in pairs, one asks the question, the other answers the question and then they swap roles. It contains both Levels 3 to 5 and a second presentation for level 6. All children should try all the tests to either consolidate their learning or to extend their learning.

I have further edited Levels 1 to levels 4 so there are now reading questions relating to every slide. I found a set of 36 levelled reading books. I love them. They go from a beginning reader to all the way to teenager / adult. I also happen to have written 189 general reading worksheets, KS1 and KS2 reading worksheet schemes and I thought I would bring them all together in a single monster reading pack. I have decided to focus my attention on getting these 40 books read and into primary schools. The books themselves are public domain. The fact is, I have spent a long time converting them into PowerPoints, so that you can both print them for the students and have it shown clearly on the interactive whiteboard. Along with a complete KS1 and KS2 Thinking Hats Reading teaching resource, this pack also includes 189 general reading worksheets and 36 levelled guided reading books. I also took the time to convert all the books into .ppt (old version of PowerPoint) so that as well as printing out the books, you can now show all the books directly on the interactive whiteboard, to build up whole class reading skills. The books vary from level 1 (beginner readers) to level 5 (teenager and adult readers). The worksheets can be used for pretty much any book, so even when you have finished reading these great books, the reading worksheets will still be useful for many years to come! I like the students to see the questions and answers next to each other. It makes learning a lot more effective. You ask a question and then check the answers as a class. I have combined the 2015 test papers and the marking schemes into single documents. This means after every question, comes the official answer and explanation. This makes a lot more sense. Teaching grammar should be fun, fast paced and enjoyable. I have taken the 2014 SATS past papers and I have combined the test paper and the official marking schemes into single PowerPoint presentations. This means you can now ask a question, get the students to show you the answer, and then show the original answer and check their understanding. I know my class really enjoys this teaching method.

I found a range of different really fun worksheets for children to work with. They focus on developing the finer hand movements. You could laminate them and use them again and again!

I teach in a small primary school. At the end of the day, the children like nothing more than to sit down, and be given a half completed picture and a challenge. They need to complete the picture in their own way. Each pack has 7 different images in it so it can be a fun daily event. My kids love these doodle challenges, I hope yours do to!

My students love to be creative. My students love an open ended task. These simple worksheets let my student's imaginations run riot. After everyone has complete the task, the students can do a simple show and tell and explain what they think the answer is. The great thing being that any answer is the right answer!

At the end of the day, my students like to unwind with a little bit of fun drawing. I have created a range of different fun drawing challenges for my students. You look at the picture, read the simple challenge and add the missing part to each picture. The students can then compare and contrast their different ideas. It is a great way of getting students to talk and describe their work.
